It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!

I love this time of the year...CHRISTMAS TIME!!!! Everything about it from the music to the lights..just the atmosphere in general. I have finished my shopping, spenidng way to much money on William, but isn't that what its all about. Going shopping Wed for David, Jessica and a few more things for my neice and then I will officially be done. I have now realized there are tons of Hannah Montana things in this world. Everywhere you look. 2 weeks is graduation and then our trip to the mountains and then FINALLY Danya's wedding...hehe!!! Gotta finish getting my stuff for that. Its time for wrapping gifts after that. My closet is full between the trainset and basketball goal and other things. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

New plans for December

Last night we were looking at what all we had planned for the upcoming months. A ton of things, so we made a decision to cancel the Disney trip and go to Asheville instead in Dec rather than to go in Jan. It was going to be to many trips back to back. We will get all of our money back from the Disney trip...thank goodness. David and I are going to take William for a ride on the Polar Express which is in Bryson City, NC (its actually just like the movie, with singing and hot cocoa) and I get to go to the Biltmore. We got our relocation package in the mail yesterday. We have 2 apts in mind that we are going to checkout while we are there plus SHOP!!! I would love to be sleeping at the moment, but I have to get ready for school..yeah.. :(

Slumber Party

So my mom is on vacation this week. I was heading over there today to get my bridesmaid dress and to buy her lunch. She called me yesterday and asked if William and I wanted to sleep over..so i said sure. I play hooky from my mgmt 475 class(employment law) and come home pack and head out. She made beef stew and as soon as we sat down to eat, the power goes out...YEAH!!! So we ate, rushed to paw paw's to watch Big Brother and head home. She thought she had turned out the lights so we all settle in the living room on mattresses, me on the couch for the night...BOOM at 10:00 pm the lights turn back on...ummm....we didn't turn off the lights like we thought. WE jumped up at hurried up turning all the lights off so William will stay sleeping. Today, lunch at Bj's, picked up my bridesmaid dress and goofed off. One of the best days I have had in a while.

What a week!!!

I hope everyone did ok during Gustav. We lost power Mon afternoon at 2 and got it back Tues evening at 6. The man who owns the apts here is on some board with the city so that helped. Moving on...apparently someone who stayed here was sick, so me, David, and my father in law all came down with a virus. 3 adults who are sick and a little boy who wants to play is not a good mixture. William was very attentive to me..giving me kisses all day. He had a little dirrhea but I am not sure if that is from teething since he is cutting his final teeth or part of the virus. At least no stomach upchucks from him. Thats about all, back to school today. I'm sure they will have a stupid amount of work for us to do. David and I have already started calling apts in Asheville to move. One of his bosses' sisters and her husband just up and moved there a couple of years ago, just left everthing here and left. They love it and offered David and I a tour when we go in Jan. We wont be moving untill sometime in March or April after the income tax returns. I am ready and wish it were tomorrow. I need to get a shower and try to eat something before heading to school.

All Moved

So we have finally settled somewhat in Ponchatoula. It is a big adjustment seeing as how we went from a 3 bedroom mobile home to a 2 bedroom apt with 4 people. I am only 10 minutes from school now vs 45 minutes. David still has about the same drive to work since Gonzales is pretty much a halfway point. William shares a room with my father in law which has worked out better than we expected. We put him down the same time we always have and my father in law stays up and watched tv so by the time he goes to bed, William is really sacked out. As far as my mom goes, she slammed the door in my face Sunday after I dropped off the house keys, and well that was the last time I have seen her. She needs to grow up and stop doing her little fantasy things. She hates David even though he has never done her a thing, so by doing that she has lost William and I. When it comes down to it, I dont think she really cares. She never saw William much anyway and we lived across the street. Its really a shame. She sent me an email saying how I am going to keep him from her, well she never wanted to see him or keep him when she had the chance, so I don't know what the difference is now. Anyway, we are thinking of our Disney trip and my graduation, so happy times coming up. I am so excited. The baby plans are still on, hopefully now that we are settled and away from her, my nerves can rest. I was always so stressed out living by her having to listen to all of the mean things about David. It is raining here and I think supposed to be rainig all day. William and my father in law are watching Little Einsteins.

YEAH I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

SO I got my graduation audit yesterday. As long as I pass my 6 little classes I will be a graduate on December 13, 2008. What a nice b-day present. I am ready for it to get here already. I only have 3 classes in the fall and they are easy. I planned it that way because I didn't want to stress out during my final semester.

Almost Over!!

Yeah only 2 weeks of econ 33 left. the other classes are a breeze. David and I are loving the new car, especially me since I drive it all the time. We are packing to move. This weekend we are getting all of the pcitures, books and things like that. Then next weekend will hopefully be the big move with the rest of the stuff. I am looking forward not to have that 45 min drive to school. We are going back to talk to the lady about the house loan and tell her the student loans are on their way to getting paid. I think once I graduate, then we will make the full decision as to where we want to live. Right now it is between Denham Springs and North Carolina. Our goal is to not have much debt when we buy a house, although seeing as how we just bought a new suv, hmmm...but other things are getting paid off. David is working late again tonight and i need to get studying and fix something for supper.

ALL Prayers needed!!!!!

My great aunt called to tell me that my dad's dad is in the hospital not doing so well. He is having trouble with his heart and stomach and they found a mass on his kidney. He has been going down hill ever since my dad died almost 3 years ago. Please keep him in your prayers. He just turned 88 years old in April, so he has lived a very full and happy life.

update

ok..still no car. we went to a new dealership and things are better. i should have went there in the first place, because my dad's buddy works there. he put our minds at ease and hopefully we will know something today. thats about it. David and I will start packing this weekend. we are going to go ahead and ge tthe change of address forms and things like that. Ihave to run errands this morning to get a certificate of heirship for my car since my dads name is on it also. the previous dealership never told us of such. i called the notary lady that i know, and she confirmed it, so i will pay a visit to her today. my mom and i have to sign it. i have not seen her in a week, so it should be interesting. she is spending time with her "whatever" today. i can honestly say i will not miss living here. i moved back here because of my dad, and ever since he died, she has turned into a mean, hateful, depicable, person. oh yeah and the married man she sees, well he tells her what to do when it comes to david and i. so i hope she gets what she wants. he has already told her he will not leave his wife and his oldest kid is 2 yrs younger than my mom...so my mom is 54...you can figure out the rest. william is waking up...bye

Still no car

ok...the short version, the lady is stupid and submitted everything wrong. so they have to resubmit it. us=not happy!!! We are so disgusted with this dealership. Its apparent that they do not know how to do business. They talk to us like we are stupid. I guess beause they think we are younger than we look. who knows. Sooooooooo.....I have no clue what is going to happen, but I have a week to get a new car, oh and we are moving in with the fil.

Finally

I got a new car!!! We are so excited. Now we will have room when we go on vacation. William is excited because he will have his radio back. I need to get out there and get everything out of my car by this evening. William is being a handful as always, he wants to constantly be touching me. Hope everyone had a good 4th. David and I did bbq steak sandwhiches for my father in law. Then we just chilled the rest of the day.

Aggervation at its highest!!

So I have been having problems with the POS I call my car for 6 months. It has been in the shop 4 times and yesterday I had to get a new battery, which my mom proceeded to put in herself, dumb idea to me, but whatever. I go today to get it inspected and it FAILED!!! To put it nicely, I am not a happy camper. My mom, well sometimes I wish I never moved back here. She will not co-sign for me another vechicle. The only reason David is in a bind, is because of his retarded student loans, which by December will be out of default and we can get our house, but that is another story for another day. I am beyond pisssed that she keeps having me go on the road with William in a crappy car. I do drive to Hammond twice a week with him. Yesterday my mother proceeded to tell me and David that we needed to grow up. HMMMM... lets see I have been married for 4 years, I have 2 children, my hubby busts his hump off so that I can go to school and finish, he makes excellent money, I take care of William most of the time by myself, go to school, David and I cook for ourself, pay our bills, I think you get the picture. Its not my fault that her married man won't leave his wife. As you can tell I am pretty aggravated. OK...William is down for a nap, clothes need to get folded and dished need to get washed.

Disneyworld Bound

So we made arrangements for Dec 17-21. Family members made excuses of course. David and I knew that. We shall have loads of fun without them. My mom obviously cannot go becauause she works retail and it is the week before Christmas. But........I have been showing William the website and teaching him things. We should be good to go by Dec. David and I are excited. That is all for now. 1 more month of school left and 5 months till I graduate.

STYX!!!

Ok, I think the last post was shortly after Father's Day. Since then, nothing much has happened. David and I went to see Styx and Boston, we had 5th row seats. I was loving every minute of it. School is still school. I am ready to be out. William is getting smarter and bigger every day. I love being home with him, the hugs are endless and the fun is never ending, trust me, he ate cat food the other day. See how much fun I have. There is something to be said for a major hug from a 16 month old, cute little boy. LOVE THEM!! So the only BIG news I have is...................we are going to DISNEYWORLD!!!!!! I am so excited. We will be gone Dec 17-21, in time for my 28 b-day and to see the Christmas stuff. Yes we are bringing William. I wish it was next week..lol. Thats all for now.

Father's Day

Yesterday was a bittersweet day as it has been for 3 years. My thoughts were on my dad as they had been all week. I have never brought myself to visit my dad's grave, yet I go to Alex's often. I guess because I am still angry and have not gotten over him dying. The more I think about how it could have been avoided, the angrier I get. He was supposed to be here to see his grandchildren, not watch them from far away. I guess maybe I am selfish for wanting him here, even though, we argued a lot. We were so alike in many ways, I never thought I would miss him as much as I have.


On another note. David, William and I had a great day. we kicked off Father's Day weekend Saturday with a breakfast at The Broken Egg. It had been a while since we have been there. Then it was off to Fischer's party, where William got filthy and had the best time. Sunday, we went to Bj's Brewhouse. It just opened last Monday. It was awesome and we will be going back. David got a free mug that has Father's Day 2008 and a free mini pizza for when we go back. Other than tht we just hung out like we do every weekend. I should have done homwork sometime this past weekend, but I procrastinated, we were having fun. So today I will be doing hw all day with a 1 yr old at my side..lol.

Feeling hot hot hot

Oh my gosh is it hot outside. William and I stay in the aircondition all day, while David is out in the heat. We had a good anniversary. David was tired and so was I. I think we were in bed for 8..lol. He had to go to Dallas that day and then turn around and go to Houston friday. It was a busy week for him. School is ok so far. 3 hours is just so long. William has 4 new teeth coming out, which will bring his total up to 9. We also got him a potty over the weekend. He loves it. Everytime we potty, he sits on his seat. We are just getting him used to it before we actually start making him pee in it. Thats about all for now. William just went to bed and David and I are about to eat some enchiladas.

4 yr anniversary

Today, is David and I's four yr anniversary. What we have been through in 4 years, some people never go through in a lifetime. From getting married, losing my dad, 1 wk later finding out Alex had a heart condition, 3 months later..Alex dying, 4 months later finding out we were pregnant again and 9 months later, our greatest joy, other than Alex, William Edward arrived. How is that for a timeline. Now, I have 6 more months of school left and operation baby no. 3 is underway, no luck yet though. David wants 12 kids...I brought him down to five. He had to go to Dallas this morning and I started back to summer school. Later this evening we will be headed out to eat, David says no matter how tired..lol. I am going to hopefully get a nap in while William is sleeping to. Its hard to sit three hours in an Econ class..YUCK!!

a digusting yet somewhat happy day

So Friday, Jessica calls and wants to have a lunch date...sure I am all up for that since I have not had a lunch date away from William and David since Feb 2, 2007..lol. I was all excited. So I leave my house yesterday headed to Kona Grill (YUMMY). I get to college drive and bamn, my car acts up...3rd time in 6 months. Soooooooo school is about a week and a half away and I have no vehicle to get there...YEAH ME. I live one of those exciting lives..lol. I guess we will see if I make it to school or not. I need a new car. Other than that...thanks to Jessica for an awesome lunch and for getting me away from the boys for a change.

A 2 week break

School is finally over for the semester. It was a rough one. 18 hours, 6 classes, 3 days a week. I had presentations coming at me left and right. David will tell you I was stressing big time. 1 semester down, 2 more to go. Summer starts June 4, I have 3 classes. 2 are internet and my econ 333 class is at 7:30 am. I go on Tues and Thurs. David and I are thinking about remodling our kitchen to get more space and putting down wood floors. I really want a house, but number 1, we don't know where we want to go yet, and number 2, we have to pay off student loans. So I guess we will see what happens. William is keeping busy, terrorizing the cat and getting into stuff he shouldn't be getting into. We have new teeth coming in and i am thinking about getting him a potty. He is fascinated with the potty, so he will have his own.

3 little words

My little boy can say "I love you". How cool is that. The best feeling in the world. Right now he is sitting in my dads old rocking chair watching Little Einsteins. He is a total mama's boy and granted its my fault. I held him all the time when he was an infant and I still hold him when he wants to be held. I can't help it. The next two weeks we will be hanging out, just the two of us. There is nothing I would rather do more than spend time with William Edward.
My Mother's Day was great. William gave me his card and so did David. We spent the day playing and then last night David surprised me with flowers and dinner at the Melting Pot. YUMMY!! I can always count on him to make my day a little brighter. Its getting time to head out. I have to go watch presentations today and William is going to my father in laws.

Family

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. David has a surprise for me and of course I get to spend it with my favorite guy in the whole world..William Edward. I always thought that when I became a mom, my mom and I could spend Mother's Day together, but I was wrong. Those of you who know me know things have changed . So thank goodness for David and William. Without them I would have no family at all. Its amazing how people can make other people change. I have watched it time and time again. Its funny how no one seems to put family first these days. What happened to the old fashioned days in which family was number 1. I must live in a fantasty world or something, who knows.

Last one for the day

I kinda like this one better than livejournal. I am not sure why though. William's shots went ok. The mmr vaccine has been under a lot of scrunity lately as a cause of autism. I was on the fence about it, but he had to have them. He did good though. He is in the 50th percentile for height and weight. I cannot tell you how much I love that kid.
I am cooking supper. Funny how all of a sudden I like to cook. I was looking at Brittney's cooking blog, but then she stopped..lol. I remember how well we use to eat back when we were roomates...yummy stuff. I actually eat well now seeing as how David loves to cook and he cooks well. I am not to bad with a cookbook. On another note I am looking forward to Sunday. This will be my 3rd Mother's Day. I will probably go visit Alex. I haven't been in a while. He is definetly missed. But I always tell people I have 2 children. 2 boys as a matter of fact. well 4 if you count Bela and Sebastian. haha. I need another girl in my life. That is a story for another day.

My life

Ok. William is sleeping. I have been sitting here thinking what my life has become. What use to be school, work and watching what I wanted to watch has now become, school, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Wiggles, Jo-Jo, Choo-Choo Soul, Little Einsteins and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. Never have I had so much fun in my life. I have turned into a full time mommy and loving every minute of it. At almost 28, I have been through a lifetime of unplanned events. My dad dying when I was 6 months pregnant to my first born Alex passing away just 5 months later. It kinda puts things into perspective as to what is important in life. William's mischievous smile and his laughter make things all the more precious. I guess I need to do housework, while I can. William is a full fledged mama's boy and loves to be hanging from me all the time. I am wondering what will happen when the next one comes along. He will have to learn to share me I guess.

A Clean Slate

So I thought I would start off with a clean look. Danya and a few others have a blog through this site so I thought I would check it out. No time for a long post, gotta take William to the doctor for his 15 month old checkup. I do believe its the mmr shot this time. More to come later today.
